A is `PCl_5` ( It is yellowish-white powder)
`P_4 + 10 Cl_2 to 4PCl_5`
B is `PCl_3` ( It is a colourless oily liquid )
`P_4 + 6Cl_2 to 4PCl_3`
Hydrolysis products are formed as follows:
`PCl_3 + 3H_2O to H_3PO_3 + 3HCl`
`PCl_5 + 4H_2O to H_3PO_4 + 5HCl`

CoSO_(4)Cl.5 NH_(3) exists in two isomeric forms 'A' and 'B'. Isomer 'A' reacts with AgNO_(3) to give white precipitate, but does not react with BaCl_(2) . Isomer 'B' gives white precipitate with BaCl_(2) but does not react with AgNO_(3) . Answer the following questions. (a) Identify 'A' and 'B' and write their structural formulae. (b) Name the type of isomerism involved. (c) Give the IUPAC name of 'A' and 'B'.

A white 'A' on heating decomposes to produce two products 'B' and 'C'. 'B' on reaction with white phosphorous produces 'D', which is a strong dehydrating agent. 'D' on reaction with perchloric acid converts it to its anhydride. The product obtained on hydrolysis (complete) of D is:
