Given below is a bar graph showing the heights of six mountain peaks.

Read the above diagram and answer the following questions:
(i) Which is the highest peak and what is its height?
(ii) Write down the ratio of the heights of the highest peak and the lowest peak.
(iii) Write the heights of the given peaks in ascending order.
(iv) Which peak is the second highest and what is its height?

(i) Clearly, Mount Everest is the highest peak and its height is 8800 m.
(ii) Height of the highest peak 8800 m.
Height of the lowest peak 6000m.
`therefore` required ratio 8800:6000=22:15.
(iii)The heights of the given peaks in ascending order are `6000m lt 6500m lt 7500m lt 8200m lt 8600m lt 8800m`.
(iv) The height of Kunchenjunga is next to that of Mount Everest.
So, the second highest peak is Kunchenjunga. Its height is 8600m.
