Factorize 6x^2+7x-3....

Factorize `6x^2+7x-3`.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The given expression is `6x^2+7x-3`.
Here , `6xx (-3) =-18`.
We split 7 into two whose sum is 7 and product -18.
Clearly, ` 9+(-2) =7 and 9xx (-2)=-18`.
`therefore 6x^2+7x-3=6x^29x-2x-3`
`=3x(2x+3) -(2x+3)`
`=(2x+3)(3x-1)`.
Hence, ` (6x^2+7x-3)=(2x+3)(3x-1)`.
