Can a plant flowering in Mumbai be pollinated by pollen grains of the same species growing in New Delhi ? Provide explanations to your answer

(a) Yes , it can be done by artificial pollination . In this process , emasculation (removal of stamens) is done to prevent self - pollination . Latter , the emasculated flower is pollinated with the pollens of flower of interest.
