Explain Rosenmund reduction of benzoyl chloride.

When benzoyl chlorides are treated with hydrogen gas through boiling xylene in the presence of palladium catalyst supported over barium sulphate they get reduced to benzaldehyde. This reaction is called Rosenmund.s reduction.
