Infertility : Infertility is a condition in couples, where they are unable to produce children inspite of unprotected co-habitation. Infertility can be treated by assisted reproductive technologies like GIFT and ICSI.
GIFT : Gamete intra fallopian transfer Ovum collected from the donor is transformed into the fallopian tube of another female who cannot produce gamete, but can be able to fertilize and develop it.
ICSI : Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection is a specialised procedure to form an embryo in the laboratory in which a sperm is directly injected into the ovum.
