Write down the three equations of rotational motion and explain the meaning of each symbol.

Text Solution

Equations of rotational motion :
(i) First equation
`omega=omega_(0)+alphat`
(ii) Second equation
`theta=omega_(0)t+(1)/(2)alphat^(2)`
(iii) Third equation
`omega^(2)=omega_(0)^(2)+2alpha theta`
Here `w_(0)` = Initial angular velocity
`omega` = Final angular velocity
t = time
`alpha`=angular Acceleration
`theta` = Angular displacement
