How many naturally occuring amino acids are found in proteins? What do you mean by essential and non-essential amino acids?

There are 20 amino acids found in proteins. Out of these, human body can synthesise 10 amino acids and these are called non-essential amino acids. The remaining 10 which cannot be synthesised by human body and should be present in our diet are called essential amino acids
