A man starts repaying a loan as a first instalment of Rs. 100. If he increases the instalment by Rs. 5 every month, what amount he will pay in the `30^(th)` instalment.

The loan is cleared in 30 months. Clearly, the amounts form an A.P with first term 100 and the, common difference `5 `
`30^ th ` term `=100+(30_i pi-1) 5=100+29 xx 5=100+145=245`
`therefore` He will pay Rs. 245 in `30^th` instalment.
