What would have been the colour of the sky, in the absence of atmosphere ?

The sky appears blue since the air molecules in the earth.s atmosphere scatter blue colour of sunlight more than other colours. In the absence of any atmosphere, there would be no scattering of sunlight and the sky would appear dark.
