` rArr 1/3 log _(3) a + 1/2 log _(3) b= 7/2`
` and 1/3 log_(3) b+1/2 log _(3) a = 2/3`
Adding the equations, we get
`1/3 log_(3)(ab)+1/2 log_(3)(ab) = 7/2+2/3 = 25/6`
` or 5/6 log_(3) (ab) = 25/6`
`or log_(3) (ab) = 5 `
` or ab = 3^(5) = 243`
