A car travels at a speed of 30 km per hour for 30 minutes and then at a speed of 45 km per hours. What is the total distance travelled by the car in 2 hours ?

For the first phase speed of car-30 km `h^(-1)` Hence in 30 minutes it travels `30/2= 15 km` For the second phase speed of car `= 45 km h^(-1)` Time= `3/2` h Distance travelled in the second phase `=45 xx3/2=67.5 km`
`therefore` Total distance travelled by the car in `2 h = 15+ 67.5 rarr 82.5 km`
