What are open, closed and isolated systems ? Give one example for each.

Closed system: A system which can exchange energy but not matter with its surroundings is called closed system.
Ex: Water taken in a closed non porous vessel. Thiscan take heat from the surroundings and is evaporated. The vapour can condense back into liquid releasing heat to the surroundings. But water cannot leave or enter the vessel because it is closed.
