Ethylamine is soluble in water whereas a...

Ethylamine is soluble in water whereas aniline is not soluble in water.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Ethylamine is soluble in water due to formation of H-bonding with water, but due to bulky phenyl group (larger hydrocarbon part) aniline does not form H-bond and thus is insoluble in water.
