The mean of a binomial distribution is 6 and its variance is 9.

The probability of getting a failuare (i.e., q) cannot be greater than 1.

np=6 and npq `=9 rArr q=(npq)/(np)=(9)/(6) =(3)/(2)`
But q cannot ge greater than 1.
