The circumferences of circular faces of ...

The circumferences of circular faces of a frustum are 132 cm and 88 cm and its height is 24 cm. To find the slant height of the frustum complete the following activiy. `(pi=22/7)`
`"circumference"_1=2pir_1=132`
`r_1=132/(2pi)=square`
`"circumference"_2=2pir_2=88`
`r_2=88/(2pi) =square`
Slant height of frustum, `l=sqrt(h^2+(r_1-r_2)^2)`
`=sqrt(24^2+square^2)
`= squarecm`

`"circumference"_1=2pir_1=132`
`r_1=132/(2pi) = 21 cm`
`"circumference"_2=2pir_2=88`
`r_2=(88)/(2pi) = 14 cm`
Slant height of frustum, `l=sqrt(h^2+(r_1-r_2)^2)`
`=sqrt(24^2+7^2)`
`=25 cm`.
