Frequency modulation is a type of modulation in which the frequency of ratio frequency carrier wave is varied by an amount that is proportional to the amplitude of a baseband or basic information carrying signal at a frequency equal to that of the modulating baseband signal , the amplitude of the carrier wave remains the same.
