Draw a graph of log P vs log (1/V) for a fixed amount of a gas at constant temperature.

Text Solution

According to Boyle's law `P=(k)/(V)` take log of both sides we have
log `P=log((1)/(V))+logk` ltbr. Comparing it to `y=mx+C` w find that graph between log P vs. log (1/V) should be a straight line with slop equal to log.
