Two pandulums have time period `T` and `(5T)/(4)`. They `S.H.M.` at the same time from after the bigger pendulum has camplates one oscillation ?

A

`45^(@)`

B

`90^(@)`

C

`60^(@)`

D

`30^(@)`

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
B

`(5T)/(4)= T + (T)/(4)`

By the time , the bigger perdulum makes full oscilation, the smaller pendulum will make `(1 + (1)/(4))` osclillation The biggerpendulum will be in the mean position and the smaller one will be in the position extreme position Thus phase difference `= 90^(@)`
