The correct Answer is:
A

Statement -1 : If `x^(2)+2x +` ………..
`x^(2)+2x+3=0` has imaginary roots and `l, k epsilon R`
`:. 7x^(2)+lx+k = 0` has an imaginary root
Since imaginary roots are in conjugate pair
`:.` Both the roots are common
Thus `(7)/(1) = (l)/(2) = (k)/(3) implies l = 14, k = 21`
`:. l + k = 35`.
