The syllabus and exam format for ICSE Class 10 Mathematics are intended to assess students' logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and conceptual comprehension The course material presents five mathematical subjects which include Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, and Statistics to teach students both theoretical and practical understanding.

2.0ICSE Class 10 Maths Exam Pattern 2026

The ICSE Maths paper is divided into two sections — Section A (Compulsory) and Section B (Optional). Students must attempt Section A and any 4 questions from Section B.

The ICSE Mathematics paper is allotted a total of 100 marks — 80 for the written part and 20 for the internal assessment.

All students have to answer the questions in Section A, while in Section B, students can select any 4 questions from 7.
