Define radius ratio. Give the limiting radius ratio value for a co-ordination number of 6.

Radius ratio is defined as the ratio of the radius of the cation to that of anion in any ionic crytal.
OR
Radius ratio `= (r_+)/(r_-)`
Where `r_+ and r_-` are ratio of cation and anion respectively .
0.414 to 0.732 .
