Syllabus and Exam Pattern

ICSE Class 6 Science Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Science in ICSE Class 6 acts as the foundation for higher scientific learning. At this level, students are introduced to the core branches of science including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology through simple explanations, hands-on activities, and real-life examples. The curriculum prescribed by CISCE transitions students from basic Environmental Studies (EVS) into a structured science program that develops observation, curiosity, and analytical thinking.

Although the annual exam is conducted by each school internally, the syllabus, structure, and assessment style follow CISCE recommendations closely.

1.0ICSE Class 6 Science Examination Pattern & Marking Scheme
