ICSE Class 6 Social Science Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Social Science in ICSE Class 6 introduces young learners to the fundamental concepts of history, geography, civics, and the world around them. The ICSE curriculum prescribed by CISCE helps children build awareness about ancient civilizations, community life, environmental patterns, and the basic functioning of our society.

This stage marks the shift from general Environmental Studies (EVS) to a more structured Social Science approach. Even though the year-end exam is conducted internally by schools, the syllabus and format follow CISCE recommendations closely.
