For 12th-grade Science students of MPBSE in Madhya Pradesh, Chemistry will be one of the most important components to include for scoring well in Science-related careers. To excel and score high in Chemistry, students need to gain a clear understanding of Chemistry Concepts, practice Numerical Problems and gain a good knowledge base about Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Chemistry.

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has issued an official Blueprint and Syllabus for Class 12 Chemistry, Pune as per the MPBSE’s academic year 2025-26. This document provides: i) Class 12 Chemistry Exam Date ii) The New Exam Pattern iii) Unit-Wise Distribution of Marks iv) A Complete Chapter-by-Chapter Officially Translated Class 12 Chemistry Syllabus from the MPBSE’s documents translated into English.

1.0Introduction

Through the Class 12 Chemistry examination, the MPBSE aims to evaluate a student's understanding of Chemistry. The examination places an emphasis on the understanding of the concepts and chemical equations and evaluates the student's Knowledge of Practical Chemistry in real-world situations. Students should begin with NCERT Textbooks as the primary source for studying and PRACTICING Previous Year Questions (PYQs) to ensure they achieve a high score in Chemistry.

2.0MPBSE Class 12 Chemistry Exam Pattern

Educating yourself about the structure of the Chemistry examination will allow students to schedule their preparation in accordance with the weightage assigned to different sections. The MPBSE Chemistry paper tests students' conceptual clarity, mathematical ability in solving Chemical Equations and their capacity to apply Chemistry to solve the problems in real-life situations.
