3. Follow the Dress Code: Wear light-colored, half-sleeved clothing along with trousers. Choose slippers or sandals instead of shoes, as per the exam guidelines. This not only ensures compliance but also keeps you comfortable.

4. Stay Calm and Focused: Approach the test with a composed mindset. Read every question carefully and manage your time wisely for the best results.

Don'ts on the CUET Exam Day

1. Avoid : Candidates will not be allowed to take personal items such as mobile phones, digital/analogue watches, food items, study material, lockets, bags, electronic gadgets or any other prohibited items into the testing room. You are advised not to bring these to the test centre

2. Arrive Late: Make sure to arrive on time. Exam gates close 30 minutes before the test starts, and arriving late could disqualify you.

3. Engage in Unfair Practices: Always maintain honesty and integrity during the exam. Any malpractice can have serious consequences.

2.0Do's and Don'ts for CUET UG 2025 Preparation

Do's for CUET UG 2025 Preparation

1. Begin your preparation early: One of the effective ways to qualify for CUET 2025 is to start preparation months in advance. This will enable you to divide the syllabus into manageable parts and permit enough time without last-minute pressure for a complete understanding of concepts. Prepare a study plan in weeks and months to study all the important topics with enough time for revision before the exam.

2. Know about CUET Exam Pattern: Knowing the structure of the exam is a significant step towards your preparation.

CUET 2025 will be divided into three sections:

Section IA (Languages): Includes language proficiency in reading comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar.

Section IB (Additional Languages): It provides additional language options.

Section II (Domain-Specific Subjects): This section includes subjects like Physics, Chemistry, History, Mathematics, etc

Section III (General Test): Current affairs, reasoning ability, and quantitative aptitude.

Familiarizing yourself with these chapters and their weightage will enable you to use your time for studies in a proper manner and plan how to approach each of them with equal emphasis.

3. Building Strong Subject Knowledge with NCERT Books: NCERT books are very much recommended for domain-specific subjects. These textbooks present fundamental concepts lucidly and briefly, which is the core of CUET's curriculum. Once the basics are grasped, advanced topics will not pose a problem to you. NCERT is always one of the most reliable preparation sources for students aiming for science, arts, or commerce streams.

4. Take Regular Mock Tests and Analyze Performance: Mock tests are among the most impactful tools for preparing for CUET 2025. Regular mock tests will familiarize you with the actual examination pattern and help you manage time well. You'll also know which areas to improve by taking regular mock tests. After each mock test, identify the mistakes committed during the test and take steps to rectify them. Also, regular practice will boost your confidence and improve your performance on the exam day.

5. Revision Frequent: Revision is an integral part of an exam preparatory cycle. It is the acquisition of new topics and, most importantly, therehearsing of what you have studied. Plan your revision a good time in advance, focusing only on topics where you struggle the most. Revise tricky topics regularly to keep them fresh in your brain as the exam date looms near. A month before the exam, devote much more time to revision than learning new things.

6. Stay Updated with Current Affairs: The General Test section of CUET 2025 tests your general awareness and knowledge of current affairs. Keep updated with national and international news, sports, politics, and other trending topics. Reading newspapers, following online news sources, and subscribing to apps that offer current affairs content can significantly help with this section.

Don'ts for CUET 2025 Preparation

1. Do Not Over Emphasize Any Section: One may not focus on one section while neglecting others. CUET 2025 is an integrated exam, and each section is equally crucial. In particular, if the general test is neglected, it would badly affect overall performance. Allocate time to each section in your study schedule and practice questions from each category

2. Do Not Rely Only on One Resource: While NCERT books are a great starting point, don't limit your preparation to just one source. Diversify your study materials to cover all aspects of the syllabus. Use reference books, online courses, coaching material, and practice papers to gain a well-rounded understanding. A variety of resources will ensure that you're exposed to different types of questions and learning methods.

3. Don't Skip Mock Tests or Sample Papers: Mock tests and sample papers are the most crucial in CUET UG 2025 preparations. You cannot afford to miss them; otherwise, you cannot develop a robust sense of conditions in the examination hall or even time management.

4. Do not rely on last-minute mugging: Crashing at the final hour is never a good strategy, especially when sitting for such an exam. It creates anxiety, lowers retention, and reduces one's ability to recall when forced to do so. As such, always try to learn and revise consistently throughout your preparation.

5. Never Ignore Time Management: Time management is very important during the exam. Do not spend too much time on one question if you get stuck—move on and return to it later if there is still time. Practice under timed conditions so that when the time is up, you don't feel you've not had enough time.

6. Not Give Up for the Tough Ones: CUET UG includes a massive subject area, so some subjects are harder than others. Do not let challenging topics overwhelm you or give you the feeling that you can't deal with them. Of course, you can overcome a sticky situation if you keep at it. Divide the issue into manageable parts, and then, with the help of teachers, friends, or online resources, break it down into smaller and more understandable pieces.
