CUET UG, or the Common Universities Entrance Test Undergraduate, is a first choice for many students who have just passed their 12th grade because it is the exam that opens the door for India’s top central universities. Some of them are the University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, and the Jamia Milia Islamia.

3.0Documents Required for CUET Registration for 2025

Before starting the CUET UG registration process, gather the following scanned documents in scanned and prescribed format:  

• Make sure the documents are in the given format and size to avoid any rejection in the later stages of the registration process. 
• The passport-size image must have 80% of the face visible. 
• The background of the image should be white. 
• Candidates need to make sure they submit the image of “their” sign only. 

4.0How to register for CUET UG 2025? 

Step 1: Go to the official Website of CUET UG

Visit the official website of CUET UG of the National Testing Agency website or directly open nta.ac.in/cuetexam to get the official website. 

Step 2: Read the Instructions

Carefully read the instructions provided on the registration page before beginning the registration process. You will understand how it works and the documents that you require. After that, go to the "Registration" tab and click on it.

Step 3: Create an Account

You need to sign up yourself and create a profile on the CUET UG portal by filling in some personal details such as Full Name, Date of Birth (DoB), and contact information (Email and Mobile Number). Also, create a password for your account. 

Step 4: OTP Verification

After filling in the personal details, you will now be required to verify your registration number with an OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your given mobile number or Email. Enter the OTP and captcha flashing just below the OTP section to proceed further. 

Step 5: Generation of your Application Number

Once you successfully register, you will receive your unique CUET UG application number. Make sure to save the number, as it will be required for you to access your application form and download your admit card later.

Step 6: Log in with generated credentials

Login to your CUET account using the application number and password created by you. Enter the Captcha code to proceed to the application form. 

Step 7: Enter your details 

Enter your additional details in this section, including – the address, Educational Qualification, University and program of your choice, subject stream, etc. 

Step 8: Upload the Documents

Upload the scanned copy of your photograph, sign, and category or PwBD certificate in the prescribed format. 

Step 9: Preview the Application

Once done, review your application to eliminate mistakes (if any) before the final submission. 

Step 10: Pay the Fee 

After the final submission, you will be redirected to the fee portal. Select the mode of payment, which is Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI. After the payment, download the payment receipt for future reference. 

Step 11: Final Submission 

After successful payment, submit the application form. Ensure to download and print a copy of the completed form for future reference.
