BSEB Class 10 Exam Date Sheet 2025-26: Detailed Timetable

Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has published the official Date Sheet for BSEB Class 10 Exam the on its website, generally in November or December 2025. The practical exams are likely to be held in February 2026, while in the morning sessions are for theoretical exams.

2.0Official Release & Notification from BSEB

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna, is the only one responsible for giving out the final schedule.

  • When: The detailed final date sheet (routine) is anticipated to be unveiled around November or December 2025 on the official BSEB website.

Note on Timings: In case of subjects having compulsory practicals (Science, Social Science), the time for the theory paper may be reduced to 3 hours (from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM) and the remaining 15 minutes will be given as a cool-off reading time.

5.0Exam Day Guidelines for BSEB Class 10 Exam

BSEB Matriculation candidates are required to follow the regulations below at their own risk and consequences:

  • Admit Card Is Mandatory: Students must have their original Admit Card/Hall Ticket with them for each paper. Without it, entry is not allowed under any circumstances.
  • Reporting Time: Get to the examination centre at least 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the exam (it is better if you come by 9:00 AM for the first shift and 1:30 PM for the second shift).
  • Cool-Off Period: The first 15 minutes (from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM, and 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM) is allowed exclusively for reading the question paper. No writing is allowed during this time.
  • Prohibited Things: The candidate's mobile phones, electronic gadgets, calculators (unless otherwise specified), smartwatches, and any written/printed material are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.

6.0Updates to the Date Sheet

BSEB announces the tentative timetable initially and keeps a short duration for public suggestions before giving the final version.

  • Review: Generally, the printed timetable serves as the final one. But, if there is a need for changes because of holidays or any unexpected situations, the BSEB will communicate the changes through a formal announcement on its official website.
  • Trustworthy Source: It is advisable for students to trust only the information that is published in the form of notifications on biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in and the data communicated through the school principal/headmaster.

Once the provisional window for the BSEB Matric Exams 2026 was made public, the students are now aware of the exact timeline. What matters the most next are the following steps:
