- Confirm if your exam subject is in the Morning shift or the Afternoon shift (if the subject/s coincide).
- Do not carry electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators or smartwatches, etc.
- Take time to read every instruction on the exam paper before beginning.
- Utilise your 15 minutes of reading time to efficiently structure your responses.

4.0How to Prepare After the Timetable Release
Once the official BSEB timetable is announced, students should shift from general studying to exam-oriented revision. This is the most crucial phase of preparation.
- Make a Subject-wise Revision Plan - Divide your study hours based on difficulty level and gap between exams.
- Avoid Marathon Studying - Short and focused 45–60 minute study sessions improve efficiency better than long hours without breaks.
- Prepare Quick Notes- Create summary notes for formulas, definitions, important concepts, maps, diagrams, and case studies.
- Solve Previous Year Papers- Practise Bihar Board PYQs to understand the question style, chapter-wise weightage, and frequently repeated topics.
- Complete Multiple Revisions (2–3 cycles)- Prioritise high-scoring chapters first, then move to moderate and low-weightage topics.
- Clear Doubts Immediately- Ask teachers, classmates, or mentors to resolve difficult chapters before the exam day approaches.
