The GSEB SSC Time Table 2026 was officially released on gsebeservice.com. The Gujarat Board Class 10 board exams 2026 were conducted from February 26, 2026 to March 18, 2026 in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM at 1,701 examination centres across Gujarat.

The exam was held in pen-and-paper offline mode. Approximately 15,27,724 students appeared for the Gujarat Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations combined in 2026.

The GSEB HSC Time Table 2026 was released for both the General Stream (Arts & Commerce) and Science Stream. The Gujarat Board Class 12 exams 2026 were held from February 26, 2026 to March 18, 2026, with practical exams for the Science stream beginning from February 5, 2026.

All theory exams were conducted in offline pen-and-paper mode in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM.

GSEB HSC Streams 2026

GSEB HSC (Class 12) is divided into two major streams:

General Stream (Arts & Commerce) — subjects include:

  • Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Statistics
  • History, Geography, Sociology, Psychology
  • Gujarati, English, and other Regional Languages

Science Stream — subjects include:

  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology

Examinations for both streams are conducted simultaneously during the same window. The HSC Science stream includes internal practical exams assessed separately.

Minimum Passing Marks: Students must secure at least 33% (Grade D) in each subject and in aggregate. For subjects with practicals, total marks are 100 (70 theory + 30 practical); passing requires 23 marks in theory and 10 marks in practical. It is not mandatory to score 33% separately in theory and practical — combined aggregate of 33% is sufficient.

GSEB HSC Exam Pattern 2026

Each subject carries a total of 100 marks. The updated 2026 pattern includes:

  • ~30% MCQ (Objective-type) questions
  • Remaining paper: short-answer, long-answer, and very long-answer questions
  • Exam duration: 3 hours per paper
  • Subjects with practicals: 70 marks theory + 30 marks practical/internal assessment
  • Subjects without practicals (e.g., Mathematics): 100 marks theory only

Students unsatisfied with their GSEB SSC or HSC Result 2026 can apply for:

Rechecking (Recounting): Totals and transfer of marks on the answer sheet are verified. No re-evaluation of answers.

Revaluation (Re-assessment): The full answer sheet is re-evaluated by a different examiner from scratch. Marks can increase, decrease, or remain the same after revaluation.
