The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has issued the date sheet for the Class 10 (Matriculation) examination to students so they can effectively plan their study and revision. The Matriculation Examination is one of the most important academic milestones for students in Class 10 in Punjab. Having the date sheet enables students to manage their time effectively and create a logical study routine.

  • Theory exams are conducted in a single shift from 11:00 AM to 2:15 PM.
  • Students will get 3 hours in the examination hall to complete their paper.
  • Practical examinations for eligible subjects (Science, Computer Science, Home Science, vocational/NSQF subjects) are conducted at the school level from February 2–12, 2026, before the theory exams begin.

On December 30, 2025, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) released online the official Class 10 Matriculation (2025-26) Examination Date Sheet; to check your copy, you can download it directly from the PSEB Board Portal.

  • Changes/Revisions to Master Timetable: The master timetable dictates the entire schedule for both theory and practical examinations. The Board encourages students to check the portal for new information, including any changes/revisions to the master timetable that have been posted by PSEB, and for any updates related to their own region through another site or through their respective schools about practical scheduling.

3.0How to Download / View the Class 10 Date Sheet PDF

Students can download the official date sheet from the official PSEB website. The steps for the same are given below:

  1. Go to the Punjab School Education Board website (pseb.ac.in).
  2. Click on either the Examination or Date Sheet option from the home page menu.
  3. Search for "Class X - Date Sheet 2025-26" or "Matric Exam - Punjab Board 2026".
  4. When found, click it and a new pdf will open in your browser.
  5. Download the pdf to your computer or mobile device so you can access it while not connected to the internet.
  6. Print the pdf using a printer so it is easier to study with at either home or school.

4.0Important Instructions / Exam Day Guidelines

  • Arrive at your assigned examination centre no later than 30 minutes before the exam — by 10:30 AM at the very latest. The exam begins at 11:00 AM; late entry is not permitted.
  • Carry your original printed admit card along with a valid photo identification (school ID). Without the admit card, you will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
  • Enter your official Roll Number only in the designated spaces on the question paper and answer sheet. It must not be written anywhere else.
  • Electronic items, mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or any handwritten notes/chits are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
  • For map pointing in Social Science and geometry sections in Mathematics, students must bring their own instrument box (ruler, compass, protractor).
  • Once you have finished writing all your answers, cross out any remaining blank pages with a single line.

5.0Next Steps for Students

  • Download and save the official Matriculation timetable PDF from pseb.ac.in and print a copy for daily reference.
  • Mark all your core subject exam dates and elective/NSQF subject dates clearly on a physical planner to track your remaining preparation milestones.
  • Allocate ample revision time for subjects with high numerical and descriptive content such as Mathematics and Science.
  • Confirm your practical examination schedule directly with your school, as Science, Computer Science, Home Science, and vocational practicals (February 2–12, 2026) are conducted at the school level.
