In the NCERT syllabus for Class 9 Hindi for the 2025-26 academic year, there are four textbooks, split between two courses, Hindi Course A and Hindi Course B. Hindi Course A contains the two books, Kshitij (क्षितिज) and Kritika (कृतिका). Hindi Course B includes the two books, Sparsh (स्पर्श) and Sanchayan (संचयन). Again, both courses emphasise a general understanding of the Hindi language and literature.
Experts carefully design NCERT Textbooks to provide students with a wide and varied range of learning. The textbooks engage students in a variety of new literary forms, including poetry, prose, short stories, and essays, written by some of Hindi literature's most respected authors and poets. With all of the literature included, the textbooks provide a repository of reading, writing and analytical skills that not only assist students in exams, but also develop a wider appreciation and enthusiasm for Hindi as a language throughout their lives.
You can easily access the PDFs of the NCERT Textbooks for Class 9 Hindi on the official NCERT website. This is by far the most dependable source for the up-to-date editions, as they have been rationalised to conform with the current syllabus.
