Yes. Eligible candidates who have studied outside Arunachal Pradesh can participate, provided they satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by DHTE for the applicable admission category.

If seats remain vacant after the scheduled counselling rounds, DHTE Arunachal Pradesh may conduct an additional counselling round or Spot Round, subject to the official notification and seat availability.

4.0Eligibility Requirements for Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2026   

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. NEET Qualification: Must qualify NEET UG 2026 with minimum required percentile.
  2. Domicile: Candidates must be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh OR Have studied at least three years in schools within the state preceding NEET.
  3. Educational Qualification
    Passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects.
    Minimum 50% marks (General), 40% (SC/ST/OBC).
  4. Age Limit: Minimum 17 years of age as on 31st December 2026.
  5. Other Conditions: Must be medically fit as per standards prescribed. 

5.0How to Apply for Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling   

Students can follow below steps:

  1. Visit Official Website: Go to apdhte.nic.in
  2. Register Online: Fill registration form using NEET Roll No., rank, personal, and academic details.
  3. Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of required certificates (e.g., NEET scorecard, photo, signature, domicile certificate).
  4. Pay Counselling Fee: Pay online fee (approx. ₹500 for General and ₹300 for SC/ST/OBC, subject to official notice).
  5. Submit Form: Verify all details before final submission.

After registration, DHTE releases a State Merit List.
