Mizoram NEET Counselling 2026 : Counselling Registration & Application Form, Counselling Procedure
Mizoram NEET Counselling 2026 is the state-level admission process for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS and B.V.Sc. & A.H. courses against Mizoram State Quota seats based on their NEET UG 2026 result. The counselling and preparation of the state merit list are handled by the Department of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE), Technical Wing, Government of Mizoram.
As per the latest public notice, candidates claiming Mizoram State Quota seats were required to submit their NEET UG 2026 scorecard using the prescribed ready-made Report Form at the Technical Wing Office, Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Aizawl. The submission window was July 20 to July 28, 2026, up to 3:00 PM, with the first provisional merit list scheduled for July 24 and the second provisional merit list for July 28, 2026.

3.0Mizoram NEET Counselling Schedule 2026
The latest notification issued by the Technical Wing, DHTE, Mizoram, provides the following schedule for submission of the NEET UG 2026 scorecard for preparation of the Mizoram State Merit List.
The first merit list has been released for candidates seeking admission against 85% State Quota MBBS and BDS seats. Candidates should check the official DHTE Mizoram website for subsequent counselling, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting schedules.
4.0Eligibility Criteria for Mizoram NEET Counselling 2026
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements to participate in Mizoram NEET Counselling 2026:
1. NEET UG Qualification
Candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2026 with the minimum required percentile:
- General (UR): 50th percentile
- SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile
- UR-PwD: 45th percentile
2. Domicile Requirement
Candidates must:
- Be a permanent resident of Mizoram.
- Possess a Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) issued by the Government of Mizoram.
3. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology/Biotechnology
- English
Minimum qualifying marks:
- General: 50%
- Reserved Categories: 40%
4. Age Requirement
Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on 31 December 2026.
5.0Registration Process for Mizoram NEET Counselling 2026
Follow these steps to register for Mizoram NEET Counselling:
1. Collect Application Form
Available from the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE) office in Aizawl. The application form is often downloadable as a PDF from the official website.
2. Fill Out the Form
Complete all personal and academic details. Enter your NEET Roll Number and NEET marks correctly.
3. Attach Required Documents
- Recent passport-sized photographs
- NEET 2026 Scorecard
- PRC (Permanent Residential Certificate)
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Class 10 and 12 certificates
4. Submit Application
Submit the completed application form physically at the DHTE office before the last date.
5. Pay Counselling Fee
Pay the counselling fee (if applicable) through the prescribed offline payment method at the time of submission.

The official seat matrix is released before every counselling round and is updated based on seat availability, reservation policy, participating institutions, and the counselling schedule notified by the Department of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE), Government of Mizoram. NRI Quota seats, if available, are notified separately by DHTE through an official notification.

Reservation in Mizoram NEET Counselling is provided as per the reservation policy of the Government of Mizoram and the admission rules notified by the Department of Higher & Technical Education (DHTE), Government of Mizoram.
