Frequently Asked Questions

The BSE Odisha Class 10 Result will be tentatively released in the month of May 2026. Please refer to bseodisha.ac.in for official confirmation.

You may not download your Marksheets; your school will provide you with the original copy of your Marksheet(s). An online version will be deemed an accessible copy and as a provisional copy to use while you await the original.

Scrutiny applications must be submitted through the BSE Odisha website; you will have 15 days from the date of your result announcement to submit your application. Please check the BSE Odisha site for details of fees and deadlines for submitting your application.

BSE Odisha will allow you to take an exam for the subject(s) in which you received an Unsatisfactory grade. They will host a ‘Supplementary Exam’ (tentatively July 2026). For date and registration information, please check BSE Odisha’s official notifications.

The BSE Odisha Class 10 standards will be issued based on letter grade scales; Letter grades of A1 (from 91%-100%) to E (less than 33%; failing). To pass, students must obtain at least 33 marks out of 100 in each subject.

  • SMS: Check official BSE Odisha notifications at the time of result declaration for active SMS service numbers for result via text message.
  • DigiLocker: Students can access their digital marksheet via the DigiLocker app or digilocker.gov.in after the result is declared. The DigiLocker copy is government-accepted and valid for provisional admission.

4.0Grading & Passing Criteria for Class 10 Odisha Exam

In order to pass the BSE Odisha HSC exam, every student must achieve at least a score of 33 out of 100 (for example, 33 percent of the total) on each individual test. If a student scores less than 30 on an individual test subject, then he/she will be considered to have failed that subject regardless of his/her total score.
