Madhya Pradesh State Quota in JEE Counselling 2026
The Madhya Pradesh State Quota in JEE Counselling refers to the admission process for B.E./B.Tech. programmes conducted through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Admissions are offered to Government, Autonomous, University, and Private Engineering Colleges across the state primarily on the basis of the JEE Main 2026 All India Rank (AIR).
Unlike JoSAA Counselling, which is conducted for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, DTE MP Counselling is the centralized admission process for engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Eligible candidates are allotted seats based on their JEE Main rank, MP domicile status, reservation category, seat availability, and choice preferences. After the regular counselling rounds, the DTE also conducts College Level Counselling (CLC) to fill vacant seats.
The MP DTE Counselling 2026 process is currently in progress, with Round 1 choice filling, merit list preparation, seat allotment, and institute reporting being conducted according to the official schedule.
