Telangana State Quota in JEE Counselling 2026
The Telangana State Quota in JEE Counselling refers to the admission process for undergraduate engineering courses conducted through the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) Counselling 2026. The counselling is organized by the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) for admission to Government, University, Autonomous, and Private Engineering Colleges across Telangana.
Unlike JoSAA Counselling, which allocates seats in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) using JEE Main and JEE Advanced ranks, the Telangana State Quota admissions are primarily based on TG EAPCET ranks. JEE Main scores are not used for Government Quota seats under TG EAPCET counselling, although a few private universities and institutions may separately accept JEE Main scores for institutional or All India seats.
The TG EAPCET 2026 counselling process has already commenced, with registration beginning on 19 June 2026, followed by certificate verification, web options, mock allotment, and multiple counselling phases.
