Frequently Asked Questions

Blood consists of plasma, red blood cells (RBCs), white blood cells (WBCs), and platelets. Plasma transports substances, RBCs carry oxygen, WBCs provide immunity, and platelets help in blood clotting.

Double circulation means blood passes through the heart twice during one complete circulation, once through the pulmonary circuit and once through the systemic circuit, ensuring efficient oxygen transport.
