3.0Who is Eligible for Chandigarh NEET Counselling 2025?

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

NEET UG 2025 Qualification

  • Must qualify NEET UG 2025 with minimum required percentile:
    • UR: 50th percentile
    • SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile
    • PwD: 45th percentile (UR) or 40th percentile (Reserved)

Nationality

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, and PIOs are eligible.

Domicile/Residence Criteria

  • Candidates must have studied in Chandigarh schools for a minimum of two years immediately prior to the qualifying examination (Class 12) OR
  • Parent(s) must be a resident in Chandigarh for three years prior to the qualifying examination.
  • For UT pool seats, Chandigarh residents are given priority.

Educational Qualification

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC).

Age Limit

  • Minimum 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2025.

4.0Registration Process for Chandigarh NEET Counselling 2025

Candidates must follow these steps:

  1. Visit Official Website: Go to gmch.gov.in
  2. Access NEET UG Counselling Link: Find “Admission to MBBS/BDS 2025” link.
  3. Register Online: Enter NEET Roll Number, NEET Score, personal, and academic details.
  4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of:
    • Photograph
    • Signature
    • Class X & XII mark sheets
    • Domicile certificate
    • Category certificate (if applicable)
    • NEET scorecard
  5. Pay Registration Fee: Approximate fee structure for different category:
    • ₹1,000 for General/UR
    • ₹500 for SC/ST/OBC/PwD

  • Seats: 100 (approx)
  • Affiliated to Panjab University, this college is the only government dental college in Chandigarh.

Note: Private medical colleges do not exist in Chandigarh for MBBS.
