The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has officially released the hall tickets for the MHT CET 2026 second attempt. Candidates appearing for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) groups must download their admit cards to confirm their shift timings and exam center details.

How to Download Your Hall Ticket

  1. Visit the official website: cetcell.mahacet.org.
  2. Log in to the candidate portal using your registered email ID and password.
  3. Click on the 'Get Hall Ticket' button to view your document.
  4. Download and take a clear printout on A4 paper to carry to the center.

Note on Password Retrieval: If a candidate forgets their password, they can use the "Reset Password" link. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number or email to create new credentials.

3.0MHT CET 2026 Admit Card Release: The New Two-Document System

In a major procedural shift for 2026, the CET Cell is issuing two separate documents to candidates prior to the exam.

  1. Provisional Hall Ticket (Exam City Intimation Slip): This document is released early to inform students of the specific city where their exam center is located. It is designed to assist candidates in making travel arrangements in advance.
  2. Final Admit Card: The definitive hall ticket is made available in the candidate's login approximately three to four days prior to the respective examination dates. This version contains the complete center address, shift timing, and specific seat instructions.

Candidates must carry the Final Admit Card to the examination center; the provisional slip is not valid for entry.

4.0Details Mentioned on the MHT CET Hall Ticket

Candidates must carefully verify all information on their admit card. Key details include:

  • Candidate’s Full Name and Roll Number
  • Application Number
  • Photograph and Signature (Ensure they are clear and match your ID)
  • Parents’ Names
  • Exam Date and Shift Timing (Morning or Afternoon)
  • Complete Exam Center Address (District, Taluka, and Venue Name)
  • Subject Group (PCM or PCB)

5.0MHT CET 2026 Exam Shift Timings

The examination is conducted in two shifts daily. Candidates must report at the center at least 90 minutes before the start of the exam.

Strict Rule: No candidate will be permitted to enter the hall after 8:30/8:45 AM for the morning shift or 1:30/1:45 PM for the afternoon shift under any circumstances.

6.0Admit Card Correction and Mismatch of Data

If there is any mismatch between the details on the admit card and your photo ID proof, you may be barred from the exam.

  • What to do: If errors exist (such as an unclear photograph or spelling mistake), candidates must fill out an unconditional undertaking.
  • Downloading the Undertaking: The undertaking PDF is typically available for download along with the hall ticket.
  • At the Center: Carry the signed undertaking and an additional valid ID proof with correct details to the exam hall.

7.0Mandatory Documents to Carry to the Exam Center

To ensure smooth entry, candidates must bring the following in original:

  1. Printed MHT CET 2026 Admit Card: Soft copies on mobile phones are not acceptable.
  2. Valid Photo ID Proof (Original): Acceptable IDs include:
    • Aadhaar Card / E-Aadhaar with photo
    • PAN Card
    • Voter’s ID Card
    • Indian Passport
    • Driving License
    • Bank Passbook with photograph
    • Recent Identity Card issued by a recognized School or College
  3. Signed Undertaking: Only if there are errors in the admit card.
  4. Affixed Photograph: Candidates should paste a photograph (preferably the same as the one uploaded) on the admit card in the designated space and sign across it.

Invalid IDs: Ration cards and Learning Driving Licenses are not valid ID proofs.

8.0MHT CET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines and Dress Code

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly banned inside the examination hall:

  • Calculators, watch calculators, or digital/Smart watches
  • Cell phones or any electronic gadgets
  • Log tables (Note: A virtual calculator is not provided on the screen)

Recommended Dress Code

While there is no official uniform, the following is advised to facilitate security checks:

  • Clothing: Wear light-colored, comfortable clothes like T-shirts and simple trousers. Avoid full sleeves with large buttons or multiple pockets.
  • Footwear: Use open footwear like slippers or sandals; avoid shoes with thick soles.
  • Jewelry: Avoid wearing any jewelry or metallic items.
