OJEE Registration Date 2026

Latest Update: Special OJEE (2nd OJEE) 2026 registration opened on June 16, 2026, and closed on June 28, 2026, with a correction window open till June 29, 2026. As of today, regular OJEE registration for 2026 is closed, and the Special OJEE exam is being conducted from July 13 to July 15, 2026. The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is a state-level entrance test conducted by the OJEE Committee, functioning under the Skill Development and Technical Education Department, Government of Odisha. It is the gateway exam for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses across Odisha, including B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Sc Nursing, BCAT, Integrated MBA, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, and Lateral Entry programs. The exam is conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and forms the basis for a centralized, merit-based counselling and seat allotment process at both government and private institutes in the state.

2.0Is OJEE Registration 2026 Still Open?

No. The regular OJEE 2026 registration window has already closed. Candidates who missed the regular OJEE or JEE Main window had the option to apply for the Special OJEE (2nd OJEE) 2026, whose registration also closed on June 28, 2026. If you are searching for OJEE registration dates now, in most cases you are either:

  1. Tracking dates for reference or academic research, or
  2. Looking for the next OJEE cycle (OJEE 2027), which will typically follow a similar pattern — registration opening around late January and closing in March.

For real-time status, always check the "Candidate Activity" section on the official OJEE homepage, which lists live registration links for MBA/MCA/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan, Lateral Entry/BCAT, and BTech/BArch/BPlan programs separately, as these can open at different times within the same admission cycle.

3.0Step-by-Step OJEE Registration Process

  1. Visit the official website: Go to ojee.nic.in.
  2. Select course category: Choose Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) based on the course you want.

  5. Complete the application form: Log in and fill in personal, academic, and communication details.
  6. Upload documents: Upload a scanned photograph, signature, and (if applicable) category certificate in JPEG/JPG format as per the specified size.
  7. Pay the application fee: Complete payment via debit card, credit card, net banking, or SBI e-challan within 5 days of form submission.
  8. Final submission: Review all details carefully and submit the confirmation page for future reference.

  • Single course: ₹1,000
  • Each additional course combination (e.g., MBA + MCA, MBA + M.Tech): ₹500 extra
  • No fee concession is available for any category.
  • Fee payment must be completed within 5 days of registration, or the form is liable to be rejected.

6.0OJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

  • PG Courses (MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan): A relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required. Final-year students are also eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit prescribed for OJEE.
  • Domicile: Both Odisha-domiciled and outside-state candidates can apply; however, only Odisha-domiciled candidates are eligible for government institute seats through the regular OJEE and Special OJEE.

7.0What Happens After Registration?

After the registration window closes, the OJEE process typically follows this sequence:

  • Admit card release for the eligible registered candidates
  • Examination in CBT mode across designated centres in Odisha, and select cities in Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal
  • Result declaration through the candidate login portal
  • Counselling registration, involving online choice filling based on rank, category, and seat availability
  • Seat allotment rounds, where candidates must complete document verification, seat acceptance fee payment, and reporting to the allotted institute within the deadline
