7.0TG EAPCET 2027 Syllabus (Overview)

The syllabus is prescribed by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, and is expected to stay nearly identical to previous years.

  • Mathematics (Engineering stream): Algebra, Trigonometry, Vector Algebra, Coordinate Geometry, Calculus, Probability
  • Physics: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Waves, Optics, Electricity & Magnetism, Modern Physics
  • Chemistry: Physical Chemistry (Atomic Structure, Thermodynamics), Organic Chemistry (Hydrocarbons, Biomolecules), Inorganic Chemistry (p-block elements, Coordination Compounds)
  • Biology (Agriculture/Pharmacy stream): Botany and Zoology topics aligned with the Class 11 and 12 Intermediate syllabus

8.0TG EAPCET Previous Year Question Papers

Solving previous years' question papers is one of the most reliable ways to prepare for TG EAPCET 2027, since the exam pattern and syllabus have stayed largely consistent year over year.

Why Previous Year Papers Matter

  • Helps understand the exact difficulty level and question style
  • Reveals high-weightage chapters that repeat across years (e.g., Calculus and Algebra in Maths; Mechanics in Physics; Organic Chemistry in Chemistry)
  • Builds speed and accuracy for the 3-hour, 160-question format
  • Useful for practicing under exam-like timed conditions

How to Use Them Effectively

  1. Attempt one full paper under strict 3-hour timed conditions
  2. Cross-check answers using the official answer key format
  3. Identify weak subject areas and revise those chapters
  4. Repeat with the next year's paper, gradually reducing solving time

9.0TG EAPCET 2027 Answer Key

Based on the TG EAPCET 2026 process, the answer key is released in two stages — preliminary and final.

Preliminary Answer Key

  • Released within 1–3 days of each stream's exam completion
  • Published separately for Agriculture & Pharmacy and Engineering streams
  • Available along with the response sheet and master question paper

Objection / Challenge Process

Based on the 2026 fee structure, candidates who find a discrepancy in the preliminary answer key can raise an objection by paying Rs. 300 per question challenged, along with valid supporting documents or textbook references. The objection window typically stays open for about 2–3 days after the preliminary key is released.

Final Answer Key

The final answer key is released after TGCHE reviews all valid objections. There is no option to challenge the final key, and the official result is prepared based on it alone.

How to Download the Answer Key

  1. Visit eapcet.tgche.ac.in
  2. Click on "TG EAPCET 2027 Answer Key"
  3. Select stream (Engineering / Agriculture & Pharmacy) and exam date/shift
  4. Enter registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth
  5. Download the answer key and response sheet to calculate your expected score

10.0TG EAPCET 2027 Result

The TG EAPCET result is expected to be declared in late May 2027, roughly a week after the final answer key is published, based on the 2026 timeline.

How to Check the Result (Expected Process)

  1. Visit the official website — eapcet.tgche.ac.in
  2. Click on the "TG EAPCET 2027 Result" link
  3. Enter registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth
  4. The rank card will be displayed on screen — download and print it

What the Rank Card Contains

  • Candidate's name, hall ticket number, and photograph
  • Marks secured and normalised score
  • Overall rank and category-wise rank
  • Qualifying status for counselling

Qualifying Criteria

General and OBC candidates must score at least 25% marks (40 out of 160) to qualify for counselling. There is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST candidates. Rank calculation uses 100% weightage from the normalised entrance exam score — Intermediate marks are not factored into the rank.

11.0TG EAPCET 2027 Cutoff

TG EAPCET cutoff comes in two distinct forms, and it's important not to confuse the two:

1. Qualifying Cutoff

This is the minimum score needed to be eligible for counselling — 25% marks (40/160) for General/OBC, with no minimum for SC/ST.

2. Admission (Closing Rank) Cutoff

This is the rank of the last candidate allotted a seat in a specific college, branch, and category during counselling. It varies every year based on the number of applicants, seat availability, and branch popularity, and is only published after each counselling phase concludes.

12.0Courses Offered Through TG EAPCET 2027

  • B.E / B.Tech (all engineering branches)
  • B.Tech Agricultural Engineering
  • B.Tech Dairy Technology
  • B.Tech Food Technology
  • B.Tech Biomedical Engineering
  • B.Tech Pharmaceutical Engineering
  • B.Tech Biotechnology
  • B.Pharmacy (MPC)
  • Pharm-D (MPC)
  • B.Sc Agriculture / Horticulture

13.0How to Prepare for TG EAPCET 2027

  1. Get familiar with the exact syllabus and exam pattern early
  2. Prioritise Mathematics/Biology, since it carries the highest weightage (80 questions)
  3. Practice previous years' question papers and official mock tests
  4. Focus on high-weightage chapters: Calculus and Algebra in Maths; Mechanics and Thermodynamics in Physics; Organic and Inorganic Chemistry
  5. Attempt sectional and full-length mock tests under timed conditions
  6. Since there is no negative marking, attempt every question
