The OJEE Result 2026 was officially declared by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) on June 8, 2026, on the official website ojee.nic.in. Candidates can download their rank card by logging in with their Application Number and Date of Birth/Password. A second opportunity, the 2nd/Special OJEE 2026, was held from July 13–15, 2026, for candidates who missed the main exam or want to improve their rank for vacant seats.

2.0How to Download the OJEE Rank Card 2026 (Step-by-Step)
- Visit the official website: ojee.nic.in
- Click on the "OJEE Result 2026" / "Download Rank Card" link on the homepage.
- You will be redirected to the candidate login page.
- Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the security code/PIN shown on screen.
- Click Submit to view your result.
- Your rank card will display your total marks, overall rank, and category-wise rank.
- Download and take a printout — you will need it throughout counselling.
If your subject-wise marks aren't shown on the standard rank card, OJEEB allows candidates to request a detailed marks statement separately, for a nominal fee, directly from the OJEE Cell.
3.0Is There a Minimum Qualifying Mark?
No. OJEE is a rank-based exam, not a pass/fail test — every candidate who appears and answers at least one question in each section of the paper receives a rank. There is no universal cutoff.
The one exception is Basic B.Sc. Nursing, which has category-wise minimum percentile requirements:
4.0How OJEE Merit/Rank Is Decided
- Ranking is based purely on total marks scored in the entrance test — there is no separate weightage for Class 12 or qualifying-degree marks.
- Separate merit lists are prepared course-wise and category-wise (General, SC, ST, OBC/SEBC, PwD, etc.).
- Tie-breaking rule: if two or more candidates score identical marks, inter-se merit is applied as per OJEEB's published criteria to assign distinct ranks.
- Candidates who do not attempt at least one question in every section of their paper are disqualified from ranking.
- The exam uses +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong answer, with no marks awarded or deducted for unattempted questions — so random guessing is discouraged.

Once the rank card is out, qualified candidates move into the OJEE counselling process:
- Registration on ojee.nic.in with the OJEE application number.
- Payment of counselling fee via debit/credit card or net banking.
- Choice filling — selecting preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
- Mock allotment result — a trial run showing where you'd currently be placed, with a window to revise choices.
- Choice locking — finalising preferences before the deadline.
- Seat allotment result — released round-wise (Round 1, Round 2, etc.), based on rank, choices, category, and seat availability.
- Document verification & fee payment at the allotted institute to confirm the seat.
Documents typically required at verification include the OJEE rank card, HSC and +2/graduation mark sheets, category/reservation certificates (if applicable), and residency/domicile proof for Odisha-quota seats.
6.0Special Attempt: What Is the 2nd/Special OJEE 2026?
If your main OJEE 2026 result didn't get you the rank or seat you wanted, OJEEB conducts a second/Special OJEE every year — and this is where most candidates get a genuine second chance.
Key facts about Special OJEE 2026
- Purpose: To fill first-year seats left vacant after the first round of regular OJEE counselling, in both private and select government institutions.
- Who can appear: Any candidate eligible for the main OJEE — including those who missed the regular exam, scored below expectations, didn't get a seat allotment, or simply want to attempt again for a better rank.
- Who doesn't need to appear: Candidates who already hold a valid rank/score through the regular OJEE 2026 or JEE Main 2026 are generally not required to sit for Special OJEE.
- Application window: June 16 – July 7, 2026 (registration fee reported around ₹450, but confirm the exact amount on the official portal at the time of applying).
- Admit card released: July 10, 2026.
- Exam dates: July 13–15, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple shifts.
- Exam pattern: Identical structure, syllabus, and marking scheme (+4/−1) as the main OJEE — no difficulty or format change.
- Ranking: Candidates who qualify through Special OJEE are assigned ranks starting from 1100001 onward, kept distinct from the main OJEE merit list.
- Eligibility for out-of-state candidates: Students from states other than Odisha can seek admission through Special OJEE only in private colleges, not government institutions.
- Validity: A rank secured through Special OJEE is fully valid for admission to any OJEE-participating college, on par with a main-exam rank.
