The IMO Class 5 syllabus is designed to test the mathematical government-recognised abilities and problem-solving skills of students. The syllabus covers several topics specific to each level of exam. Following is the full syllabus of the International Maths Olympiad Class 5 Exam:
4.0IMO Class 5 Eligibility Criteria
Level 1: Students of Class 5 enrolled in a school recognised by SOF. There are no other criteria.
Level 2: A student qualifies if they meet any one of these:
- Among the class-wise top 5% of Level 1 participants (international level).
- Among the top 25 rank holders in each class in each zone (zone/state level).
- The class topper, where at least 10 students from the class appeared and the topper scored at least 50% (school level).
5.0IMO Class 5 Registration 2026-27
IMO registration is handled through schools. Individual registration is not accepted. Schools submit registrations at least 30 days before the chosen Level 1 date.
- Registered schools receive the prospectus and forms from SOF. Unregistered schools can email info@sofworld.org or call 0124-4951200.
- Parents submit the form and fee to the school.
- SOF generates roll numbers and sends admit cards to schools.
IMO Registration Fee: ₹170 per student in India, Bhutan, and Nepal. The previous year's fee was ₹125.
6.0IMO Class 5 Exam Pattern 2026-27
The IMO Exam follows a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format. The International Mathematics Olympiad, which SOF organises, operates in two levels: Level 1 and Level 2.

Students can download the IMO Result 2026-27 by visiting the official website of the Science Olympiad Foundation at sofworld.org and results.sofworld.org/results.
To view the Olympiad Result 2026-27, students must enter their login credentials, including their registration number and password, provided during registration.
