The iRAO allows students to showcase their thinking skills and aptitude abilities.
Along with reasoning skills, the Olympiad examines mathematics and language alongside thinking ability. iRAO helps students identify their strengths and weaknesses and directs them toward their goals. 1.0iRAO 2026: What You Need to Know
The International Reasoning and Aptitude Olympiad (iRAO) is a competition for students in Classes 1 to 12 that tests and builds critical thinking. It covers reasoning, logic, problem-solving, numerical aptitude, and spatial visualisation, challenging participants to think analytically and creatively.

4.0iRAO 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Students in grades 1–12 are eligible to participate in the International Reasoning and Aptitude Olympiad (iRAO). These students can take the test to demonstrate their aptitude in various subjects.
5.0Register for iRAO 2026: Application Details
Candidates can only apply for the exam offline through their school registered with the SilverZone Foundation. If the school is not registered, candidates may request a prospectus by emailing info@silverzone.org. The school can fill out the forms carefully and send them back to the Foundation on time.
Important Note:
- Your school can now simply become a registered centre for the International Reasoning and Aptitude Olympiad (iRAO) at zero cost! All that is required is that at least 20 students from your school register so that it remains feasible.

6.0iRAO 2026 Exam Pattern
- The medium of the test is English only.
- Question papers are class-specific and objective-type (multiple choice).
- There is no negative marking.
- OMR answer sheets are provided for all classes.

8.0iRAO 2026 Admit Card
Registered students can download their iRAO admit cards from the official website. Candidates who have applied can download their respective admit cards by filling in the necessary details.
Listed below are some important instructions regarding the Admit card:
- A copy of the hall ticket/admit card is distributed to the affiliated schools before 2 to 3 weeks of the examination.
- Students should carry their admit cards during the examination.
- Admit cards contain details like a student's name, father/mother's name, session, date, and other dates, along with the rules and regulations mentioned by the board.
- After downloading the SilverZone IRAO admit card/hall ticket, check whether the information provided on the admit card is correct.
9.0iRAO Exam 2026 Result
SilverZone results usually take 45 to 60 days to publish. iRAO results are expected around February/March 2027. Check results on silverzone.org.
10.0iRAO 2026 Awards and Recognitions
The International Reasoning and Aptitude Olympiad (iRAO) gives out awards and recognitions to top-performing participants, celebrating their success in the competition. Here's a summarized tabular representation of the awards and recognition provided by the International Reasoning d Aptitude Olympiad (iRAO):
- For tied ranks, the cash award is equally divided among a maximum of 10 students, with each also getting a Golden Medal of Excellence and a Certificate.
- If there are more than 10 students who have the same rank, they get a gift certificate, a Medal of Excellence, and a Special Achievement Certificate.
- Awards are also presented for the highest level reached (e.g., international over zonal).
- Areas for identification of toppers are the North, West, East, and South, as well as an International Zone comprising different states, union territories, and nations.
11.0iRAO Preparation Tips
- Learn the syllabus and pattern for your class group.
- Practise reasoning daily: series, coding-decoding, blood relations, and direction sense.
- Strengthen quantitative aptitude with number system, algebra, geometry, and mensuration.
- Practise non-verbal reasoning: mirror images, figure sequences, and pattern completion.
- For Classes 9–12: revise English grammar and syllogisms.
- Solve sample papers and previous year papers under a timer.
- Practise Scholar's Zone questions, which test higher-order thinking and carry the most marks per question.
- Review mistakes and note weak topics.
