Vidhyarti Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is an initiative of Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). VVM is a national programme aimed at popularising science among school students from standard VI to XI, conceptualised to identify bright minds with a scientific aptitude from the student community.
Those who wish to build a career in science or explore the vast knowledge of science can appear for the exam by filling out the online application form. Registered students will be allowed to take the exam from their devices, namely, a smartphone (mobile), laptop, or desktop, either from their school or home. Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is India's largest science talent search examination for school students of standards VI to XI. It aims to identify bright minds with scientific aptitude in the student community. 5.0Exam Pattern of VVM Exam
Note:
- Answers of Section-B will be evaluated only if a student secures equal to or more than 50% (i.e., equal to or more than 20 Marks) in Section-A.
- The final merit list to identify participants for the State Level Camp would be prepared on the basis of total marks scored in both segments namely Section-A & Section-B.
- In case, there is a tie in rankings, marks obtained in Section-A will be the deciding one.
Students participating in the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) undergo a comprehensive multi-level testing process designed to assess their scientific aptitude and knowledge. The exam pattern includes:
- Students are able to respond to multiple-choice questions that are associated with a number of scientific concepts.
- The participants will display their knowledge of scientific subject matter via a written submission.
- Students may also take part in group discussions during which they convey the results of their investigations or their opinion about specific topics in science.
- This component will require students to role-play in specific scientific situations and use their problem-solving skills to/understand scientific principles.
- Students are tested during a practical examination to determine whether they have been able to relate what they have learned through theory to a real-life setting.

6.0Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) Registration
The application process for Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is simple and straightforward. Here's how you can register:
- Individual Registration: The student can register by entering required details like Name, Date of Birth, Password, Class, School Name, Address, District, State, etc.
- Verification: Once the details are entered, the VVM admin will confirm the information by sending OTP (One-Time Passwords) to the registered Mobile Number and Email ID. Both OTPs are unique and need to be entered to complete the verification process.
- Online Payment: Students may go ahead and make the online payment using the payment gateway options provided.
- Unique Username and Password: On registration, every student will be assigned a unique username (sent to registered email ID) and password in encrypted mode.
- Exam Date Selection: Students cannot modify the date they have selected. They need to ensure they have access to a device with proper internet connectivity on the selected date and time.
- Attempt of Exam: Students can attempt the exam once without exception on the fixed dates by the authorities.
- Criteria of Evaluation: Students will be assessed on the school address provided at the time of registration.
- Device Specification: Students should specify the device details on which they are going to attempt the exam in order to download the device without any compatibility issues that the VVM Exam App.
- Confirmation or Device Change: The students can confirm the shown details or alter the device by filling in the required details prior to the exam date.

8.0VVM Exam Fee Structure
To participate in the Vidhyarti Vigyan Manthan (VVM) program, students registering individually or through their schools are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Hundred Only).
For schools or institutes coordinating the registration process, a service charge of Rs. 30/- per student is applicable, which is to be retained by the school/institute. The remaining amount is to be transferred solely through Online Payment Mode to the VVM Delhi office. When making the payment through an account transfer, it is essential to upload the receipt and transaction ID, along with the submission of transaction details.
Modes of Fee Payment:
- Fee: Rs. 200/ , without Late Fee
- Mode of Payment: Through payment gateway and ONLINE (RTGS/NEFT) and Challan payment only
- Note: NO CASH/ DD / Cheque payments will be accepted.
Individually registering students are requested to make their payments exclusively through the online mode (payment gateway).
9.0VVM 2025 Result
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan's (VVM) 2025 Level-I results were officially declared on November 7, 2025. The Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2025 Level-II (State-Level) results were officially released on November 30, 2025, on the official VVM website (vvm.org.in). Students who got selected for the state-level camp can check their results, which were declared on January 24th, 2026, using their registered email/mobile number and password to check their marks, rank, percentile, and selection status for the upcoming camps.
